Tech is ahead of Oklahoma early in the third quarter 31 to 7 and the game is in Norman if you can believe that. A big upset (?) could be in the making but still time for Oklahoma to come back.

I didn't realize there was another thread on this so mods please eliminate it and I will post on other thread.

Oklahoma gets field goal with 2:38 left in third. It is now a two td game with the score 31 to 17. Tech better do something on its' next possesssion if they want to get a win here. But Oklahoma is tough on defense now. We will see what happens.

Tech gets a field goal with about 12 minutes left to lead 34 to 24. Too much time for Oklahoma and field goals aren't going to do it. Oklahoma will probably march down for another td without trouble.

Tech holds with a little over ten minutes. If they can move and get a td they have a chance to win but Oklahoma's defense is playing tough.

I slept through most of the second half and woke up around 1 when Mother Nature called. The tv was still on & they mentioned the win. I was so glad!

You have to still give Oklahoma credit for coming back strong and except for a couple of missed field goals that should have been easy to make they would have pulled it off. Still great job by Tech.

Sorry, but OU got beat in every facet of the game - outplayed and outcoached on both sides of the ball. And that's the way they should have played the two weeks prior.

All boils down to TTU having great coaches and great talent. They can play with anyone. The problem is they are young and undisciplined. You never know which team will show up. That hold true from Qtr to Qtr. 2nd qtr they were devistating. 3rd......not so much.

Either way this is great confidince to a young team who is battling many injuries.

Congrats to Tech. Exposed OU in all areas of the game.

Even though freshman loaded Texas got blown out score wise, they moved the ball and showed me that OU wasn't a top team. TTU was able to capitalize on OU's weaknesses.

Agreed. That is why this embitters me even more. Tech should not get beaten by only half-way decent teams.

I hope Tech can find some consistency and pride again. Perhaps this is the step they needed.

that is a classic fraud Tommy call....he relishes that riverboat gambler title, but most of his riverboat calls are retarded....if not for that FG kicker missin 2 easy ones Tech loses and Tommy the fraud chokes again...

If you realize they had a great year when Leach was their coach and Crabtree and co. was there, then I guess you didn't miss the memo as you claimed.
