Port Isabel Tarpons offense

Still don't have exact #, but as a team they rushed for over 410 yards against La Feria. I'll post the exact # soon as I find/hear about it.

Here's 104 of the 400+ yards in just 2 plays by our QB.

I second the Liberty Hill defense as a whole. Total shut down and domination. Holding a team to just 1 yard of total offense is amazing.

Well, I guess I could nominate Floyd Bess, RB, Columbia. 9 carries. 174 yards. 3 TDs.

Not bad considering he was sharing carries with Sean Flannel (122 yards and 3 TDs), Treylon Johnican (70 yards) & Marquise Myles who also ran in for a score.

I second Sadler. I saw him in action and it wasn't your typical sweep outside, hit the sideline and gone. The 92-yarder, he weaved through the Pearsall defense, cut back, came across the field and was gone. First two scoring drives he wasn't too involved then hits a 40-yarder to go over 100. Broke the 70-yarder to go over 200 and then hit the 92-yarder to go well over 300. So he started slow then really came on. He could have set whatever records he wanted had he played the second half but it was already 55-0 or something. If this kid were to play full games he would have some truly amazing numbers.

I know he is a great back but I would love to see him against some quality opposition just to satisfy any critics. It was Pearsall after all.

Local Media has him running for 184yds on 15 carries & 3 TDs and was instrumental in Port Isabel's 51-35 win over La Feria(who had a 6-1 record, going into the game).

Wow. I'll go with this performance as well. Not sure we had a more dominating performance from the region this year. 1 yard, no lie? Good job LH.

What's the kid's name? This appears to be a solid outing against a quality opponent.

“It’s going to take a lot of hard work,” Martinez said. “During the season but also after the season is over. We’re just gonna have to go hard all the time to bring Port Isabel back where it belongs.”
