Great game Van driving inside Lindale's 10 with 1:30 left in the game and turns it over on downs when the QB passed the ball to the end zone after already picking up the first down. Crazy game that included tons of pennalties on Van and Dalton Santos getting ejected (supposedly threw a punch) midway throught the 2nd quarter. Van proved they can play with the big boys though. Lindale is a very good team but got beat up bad in this game in the second half. Lost their center broken ankle, a RB? I believe broke his leg and QB looked to have collar bone injury. Hope they recover ok. For a Van team playing without it's best player most of the game they proved they are no one man show. Van did a great job shuting down Lindale's rushing attack but Lindale torched Van's corners. If they can fix that look out. Over 6,000 folks on hand to watch the game.

Yea, I think this was probably our only chance to make the playoffs. Of course we still have to play Prosper :eek::eek:. If we can beat them and have either Princeton or Lovejoy lose their next two we could get in. I have to say that my Farmers have certainly improved a lot since the beginning of the season but as is normal for this coaching staff our boys are very weak in the fundementals. We missed 3 extra points and had 3 turnovers last night and still were within 2 points of winning. We had 4 turnovers against Lovejoy last week and lost by 7 points. We lost our starting (sophomore) running back to injury last night and had two freshmen players step up and carry the team. One receiver and one runningback. This Farmersville team is a mirror opposite of Farmersville teams of the past. They actually have a pretty good passing game and a pretty fair QB. F'ville hasn't had a passing QB since 2000 or 2001. The problem is they can't play any defense. They gave up 600 yards to Frisco/McKinney East (sorry, I mean Princeton). Anyway it was certainly a great game to watch. The Farmers were going for a two point conversion with 2 minutes left to tie the game but failed.

Good chance that Princeton loses two in a row. Slim chance that Farmersville beats Prosper. Who knows what the UIL do during the next re-alignment. Maybe Farmersville will end up with Van Alstyne and Anna
