On the snap shot thread it shows Snyder to have reported 712. One of the local media in Midland is reporting Snyder to have turned in 512 which one is correct?

I don't know for sure, but they turned in 714 two years ago and losing 200 students in two years probably would have made some news. My guess is 712 is the right number.

Some 4A's and 5A's have lost 100-200 kids in that period but they are usually closer to the big cities.

yall aren't Wylie...and we're not doing a very good job! Sending too many kids to Cooper that day. Need the number to be largest in district and no more than 1-2 students under limit for 4A... this third biggest school in district and Div II crap has gotta stop!

This is what I was thinking when I read it. But I also know that when two large employeer more their operations out of town this can happen. It happened here in Monahans in the late 80's but a slow effect as most kept their kids here and drove to work in Odessa.
