They will be with the likes of Sanger and Argyle or they could go the other way and catch Decatur and Bridgeport. YIKES! Welcome to varsity football Bobcats...

SA Hawkins is in 26 -3a now but does not play football(Thank God). They have declined in enrollment and will be moved to 2A. They are a good reason why they should not be in the UIL. Charter schools for the most part are horrible and if they are like SA Gervin (School of Excellence) a few years ago they announced football, made schedules then backed out and left the rest of the teams in that district holding the bag!

KIPP has been in District 24 for all sports except football since the last realignment.
They have not been very competitive. I think they are a charter school that has class
from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. It doesn't appear they have emphasized the sports program
too much so far. I hope they have been competing at the freshman and JV level
before jumping in to varsity.

Tomball Memorial was added to District 24 for all sports except football earlier this year.
According to their website, they have been playing freshman and JV football this year.

Bet a bunch of schools are praying the same prayer. Maybe an opportunity to run up the score like they do in basketball.

Agree. Boys basketball was ok. Everything else was unfair to the other schools. Keep private school athletics out of UIL, Please!
