I watched him play. He was a man among boys on the field in HS.

This is shocking and very sad. I had the pleasure of seeing him play many times, as Bishop was still in 3A at the time and played Mathis every year. Puts things in perspective because I'm the same age and don't have very healthy habits. I guess you just never know. :(
