We dont have two a days anymore. Its just one practice with a 30 min break in the middle, all in the morning, until teachers report to school. then its in the afternoon

Same here. So how will the change affect us?

That's how the schools in Wharton County do-Only a morning practice

We have always done what we call "all-a-days." These consist of lots of conditioning and football broken up by several breaks and film/talk sessions where the kids are made to re-hydrate. They come back after lunch and we make them take a nap for 2 hours. By 3PM it's back to more film/chalk, weights, then back to football. Turn them loose about 5:30 or 6:00. It's a matter of monitoring the kids and having water available for everyone. We weigh them in and out at least twice a day. If we don't bring the kids back after lunch, they don't rest, or hydrate themselves properly. This way we make sure they do. We've never had a serious heat injury.

That's a lot of monitoring but I guess you can never be too careful.
