Despite all the penalties and other things that happened tonight, Smithville Tigers are losers no longer and are now 6-0 and showed a never stop believing tenacity that I have never seen from them. Congrats and keep on rolling....

Surprised this game was that close-Thought the Tigers would run away and would win by more. Guess Rockdale gave them a good game . Tigers needed a TD in the 4th quarter for win

I thought after tonights win over Giddings, The Smithville Tigers deserved to have this posting Titled "Smithville Tigers - Losers No More" brought to the top. Biggest turn around in High School football this year. Period!!

Didn't they do this a few years ago(make the major "turnaround")? I was on their bandwagon back then.
Not trying to be trouble here, but I am wondering seriously what is the difference this year from a few years ago. Sorry, I haven't read all your threads this year. :(

Smithville is winning this year with hard, smashmouth type ball, not tricks and deception. They line up and dare you to stop the run. That and the confidence level is very high. They seem to be a team on a mission.
