still 0-0 early in the 2nd quarter

Celina stops Anna on 3rd and goal at the 1 and then blocks the punt, and now Bobcats are running down the field in large chunks

14 to 0 half Celina.

Celina is playing awful. Their are 3 starters out for Celina but it should be 35 to 0 or worse just bad.

gotta add however, after having seen Anna play so bad for so many years - this squad was small in numbers (band was more than twice as many) but they had some players this time, so almost a positive to only lose by 28 to Celina for once....good job boys in purple....

I hope the Uil sticks Celina in a tougher district so they have to be dialed in. It's pretty obvious the players are just going through the motions right now.

They'll probably move you over to 9-3A with us. Argyle, Aubrey, Celina, Gainesville, Pilot Point, and Sanger. How's that sound to you guys? Like that?

That would be wonderful. I got to talk to a player and he said it's hard to get up for some of these teams. So in turn hopefully the Uil will put some teams in with Celina that they can get up for. I guess the other part of it as a fan you want the team your rooting for to win really big, but the coaches at least in Celina have a bigger plan than blowing a team out. It's pretty apparent they are looking and trying different things. I guess thats the luxury of playing in a weak district.

With Whitesboro dropping down, you would think those people could see the forest for the trees and make this a really competitive district, like 16-3A. Three play-off teams with game experience each year.

That would be nice. I would rather go west than east. Place Prosper in there for a non-district game and have Prestonwood and maybe a Frisco team in there as well. I miss playing Royce City...they were always tough!! Pilot Point and Celina will always be a game. What about Gunter? They have had a pretty good team over there in the past few years. I like your way of thinking Eagle.
