Over the course of this season, I've read a lot of people discussing what would make their team better...
Blocking assignments need to be executed properly, the QB needs to think before he throws, the play calling needs to get better, the defensive line needs more penetration, the secondary coverage needs to be executed more properly, need more conditiong...
These examples of things that need to be done in order for a team to perform better...
But what about penalties, fumbles and other mistakes?
Should these be used as excuses for a team losing? Should people say 'if we wouldn't have fumbled or made so many mistakes and penalties we would have won'?
OR should it be included in overall team-effort? Something that needs to be done just as blocking etc... needs to be done?
So vote whether you think penalties, fumbles and other mistakes are things to be used as excuses, or thought of as involved in the over-all team effort?
