I'm not as much of a baseball fan as a football fan, but I hope some of you baseball folks can offer some explanations about the MLB baseball game:

1. Why can't Ranger hitters adjust when they know that Fister was going to throw inside and jam them all night long? I bet Beltre fouled 20 into the dirt and himself.


2. Why did the Rangers pitch to Cabrera when he hit the homer? Made more sense to walk him this bat more than any previous.


3. Did Wash give up on this game down 3-1 and use the weaker bullpen ptichers and save the better ones for game 4?

4. Why does Hamilton always swing at the 1st pitch regardless of location?

1. Great pitching wins over great hitting. If he backs up you throw a slider outside corner and he can't hit it.

2. Cabrera hit a solo shot. The one that hurt was the 0-2 pitch that he hit down the RF line.

3. He didn't "give up" but was certainly resting the big guns. They can't pitch every game. Those guys that came in are paid to get outs just like the others.

4. I love aggressive hitters with no one on or later in a game. I like seeing a lot of pitches and learning the pitcher early. Often times pitchers will go after good hitters early because you can't after getting behind.

When a guy has it he has it. We need a rain delay to get him out of the game. He will easily pitch 7 if not 8 tonight. He's got the magic dust tonight.

To me it looks like a great football team that is clicking. No matter what play is called, the defensive is a step late or just looks back on their heels. It's awesome to watch unless it's happening to you.
