Come on out Caldwell posters, it is okay. We will not be too rude. This game over the years has had some battles for the books. Caldwell being down like this is not as much fun.

How are things around there with the new coaches? They doing the best they can with what they got, or are they dissappointing the community right now?

It would be nice, but my friends from Caldwell are having a tough year. Here's hoping for things to turn around quickly, I always enjoy visiting the good people of Caldwell, love those kolaches!!

Giddings had a lot of drama last year and, quite frankly, looked past Caldwell. Things got ugly at the end of the games between our crowd and the zebra crew. They made the correct call after seeing it again on film.

I hope the game this year is more low-key. Giddings by several TDs IMO.

Yah, last year's game was a barn burner and a heartbreaker for the Buff's. I felt the call on the last play was correct, but I was mad that we kept getting burned in our secondary and allowed them to retake the lead.

Because of the drought and watering restrictions, I guess Caldwell hasn't been able to use it's secret weapon this year

We all good on the drama now, things are in the right direction and happen to be playing good football. Nice to have things in right direction and be in middle of district championship battle. I am very impressed with how well the kids have adapted to new system. It is nice not to have any, like 3 a game or so, personal fouls that set us back on drives. That makes things harder than people think, not to mention not how Giddings athletes historically act during athletic events.

Wonder if many Caldwell fans show up? I understand they are having a down year, but there aren't many on the downlow either.

I think it was 48 or 49 to 0, when I left with a couple of minutes left in the 3rd.

42-6 is a very convincing win. Most teams with a game in hand are going to take their foot of the gas about midway through the 3rd and get their backups some playing time.
