Final 23 - 16 Carthage.

Great game and a superior effort by Pitt. Great football...I am glad I got to see such smash mouth football...it is our turn next Friday!

Either Gilmer is underrated, or Carthage is overrated. Either way, there will be some very close games to come in 16-3A. I think Carthage is overrated.

I have not seen either team this year, but I won't change my ratings until I see someone in that district beat Carthage. AND, close don't count except in horseshoes and hand grenade throwing.

I've seen both Gilmer and Carthage. I think Gilmer will win by 2+ tds.

i have HEARD both chill and gilmer and they are both obsessed with carthage.

An obseession based on the 3 time defending state champ is not a horrible on surprising thing.

To get to where you want to go in 3A you gotta go through Carthange and Henderson until futher notice!

i have HEARD both chill and gilmer and they are both obsessed with carthage.

IMO CH is more about looking at what Henderson is doing since that is who beat them last year in title game
