Gonna be a tough game for the Lions with the injuries and young players, but I think they will step up the game and bring the Wood to Snyder. Defense will have to contain Ward, and our limping offense will have to control the ball and not give the Tigers easy turnovers. Should be a good game! With homefield advantage, Brownwood by 7.

I agree about Monahans. Tough every year. But I think the team to watch is Seminole. Their offense looks to be hitting on all cylinders now that their QB is back.

I still don't know what to expect from Snyder. I've seen Monahans and know what they have and they are equal to Snyder judging scores and past results. I think it will take a mistake free game in all areas: penalties, turnovers, assugnments, etc. I feel like we will try to control line of scrimmage and clock. If it's low scoring we can win, high scoring proly not.

In a sense yes, but not as much as Ward. Ratliff did have a huge game last week. However, he has been used in so many different ways its hard to just stop him. Also, our QB is back and is a great runner. Vacarro and others will still get their touches also.

I think we will have to win without Ratliff having a 100 yd night Friday. Snyder's coaches were off Friday and watched the whole game so they should be prepared to stop Ratliff. I do not want to take away from him but there are others who can get it done.

Brownwood stays in the shotgun 100% of the time, even on 4th and goal at the 1, we'll be in the shotgun (I don't like that but I don't call the plays). Last week we were in the pistol for the first time all year. I wasn't at the game, but apparently we were in the pistol almost the entire night.

I haven't seen Snyder this year, but I've heard they use the Keenan Ward offense and a defense that is specialized in turning ankles. :crazy:

I won't tell em. The best "JV" athletes are on varsity. I don't understand why so many folks put so much faith into sub-varsity. We use it for teaching. By the way,P our 7th grade A team spanked yalls arse. It's about as relevant as your crap.

Gotta give Ward his props, we didn't stop him, so we didn't win. Honestly, IF, that big word, Brownwood would have tackled correctly, I think Ward might have only gotten half his yards. The Lions were in the holes, but did not wrap up anything! Poor tackling by Lions all around cost us any chance to be in the game.

Congrats to Snyder on a big win! The defense is quick and reactive. Be interesting to see the stats in the morning, think ward completed one pass, not positive so don't jump off a windmill tower, all I remember.

Congrats to the Tigers! My wife said she sat with some folks behind a few brownwood fans. My wifes friend comented " its really sad that these brownwood fans think they have a chance." very clean game. no ankle twisting and nobody got bit. In the end it was a clean sweep at the high school level with the frosh, JV and Varsity all winning.. Not bad for a "Mediocre" program as Tin Cup put it, to sweep Brownwoood like that. Question for Tin Cup and Beast and Rocket ( if you show your face)... Does that make Brownwood SUB mediocre now of was it all just a fluke??:clap:...

Congrats to the Tigers! My wife said she sat with some folks behind a few brownwood fans. My wifes friend comented " its really sad that these brownwood fans think they have a chance." very clean game. no ankle twisting and nobody got bit. In the end it was a clean sweep at the high school level with the frosh, JV and Varsity all winning.. Not bad for a "Mediocre" program as Tin Cup put it, to sweep Brownwoood like that. Question for Tin Cup and Beast and Rocket ( if you show your face)... Does that make Brownwood SUB mediocre now of was it all just a fluke??:clap:...
