they have Devine in D-1, Devine will never be D-1 (2nd smallest).

they have:
Devine and SH D-1

Hondo and Cuero
Somerset and Gonzales

Should be:
Somerset and SH

Devine and Cuero
Hondo and Gonzales or REV.

Don't be surprised if Region I ends up with this scenario.

Region I (Division I)

Brownwood vs Burkburnett (Brownwood wins)

Region II

Snyder vs. Bowie (Snyder wins)
Sweetwater vs. Graham ( I'm just hoping it might be played in Abilene) :D

Ingleside will not go D1 if Sinton or Rockport make the playoffs as both those teams have bigger enrollment numbers.

edit- wait...does Brownwood have the second largest enrollment now?

edit- wait...does Brownwood have the second largest enrollment now? Big Spring doesn't have to beat Wylie for Wylie to be out of the playoffs. The winner of the Sweetwater/Wylie game has a huge advantage as far as playoff spots go. I'm pretty sure that's what Red was trying to imply.

You've got 32-3A wrong on so many levels.....

See the records of the non-district opponents for both La Feria and La Grulla. With such cupcake schedules of course La Feria would be 5-0 and La Grulla 4-1. And La Grulla lost to the only decent team on their non-district schedule Raymondville.

I'm pretty sure that's what Red was trying to imply. That's why I said almost. It would be less of a long shot if Big Spring had a team this year to go along with their largest enrollment..

Yeah, can't make mid-season playoff projections just based on current records. :)

Oh yeah, case in point. 16-1A La Villa gave "undefeated" La Feria all sorts of trouble. La Feria won, but 55-45. Same for La Grulla, and they had to go into Overtime to beat 16-1A La Villa 28-21 (or was it 21-14 I forget)

Matt, are the projections based on current standings or is it a prediciton of the teams that will make the playoffs?

Yeah, you made that perfectly clear over at the 956 forums. Shall I link the particular thread for Matt's educational purposes?

Ok. Your assessment of La Feria was rather brutal, I'll spare Matt the details. LOL

I was too young to make that game. Maybe we could play at Memorial in Victoria?

Henderson's road to another state championship is not lined with cupcakes! Tf they make it out of Region 2 it looks like Alvarado out of region 1 and Chapel Hill in the finals.
