I emailed the link below to a friend of mine that is a Packer fan and was raised at that time about 30 miles from Green Bay and he said it was not him. But he did have a resemblance to him which is probably why he was chosen for the commercial since the ad has some humor to it.

Yes I thought the guy looked like him but wasn't sure if it was. Probably got a lot of people to buy Mustangs because they thought it was him.

I bet you are right. Even though it wasn't him see below because it does prove that Ford and Starr had a friendly relationship.
