Maybe but Salado has played really well to this point.

I like when you pick Burnet to lose because we win you do. :)

Salado and the Hill winner will decide who makes the playoffs and who stays home. Burnet vs Lampasas should decide the district crown IMHO. Salado over The Hill , I just cant make myself beleive that for some reason.

I think the LH defense is a shade better than any that Salado has faced yet.

3A REGION IV DISTRICT 28
Houston (San Antonio) at Gonzales, 7:30pm [projection: Gonzales 34-28]--R4E

Still not a believer R4E? Not many are.

NWS predicts at cat 5 Hurricane arriving in Gtown this Friday. Gonna be fun. Both schools tired of hearing about the other I know. Good luck both schools and give the fan's what they expect. A classic, respected contest. Leave it on the field. This one will be wild.

 Let's see...

Lampasas 4-1
Burnet 3-2
Liberty Hill 3-2
Salado 3-2

Every week is a fight for a spot. And I sure wouldn't be trying on that crown just yet. ;)

I'm a believer in SH but you are on the road this week. A home game or neutral site I would go with SH. Still, less than a TD difference makes it close.

I'm fairly new to the board. LH defense, thus far has allowed the fewest points against of the 6 teams in the district. Also has one of the lower point for totals as well, but as long as they continue playing tough defense, I think they can outscore Salado. Curious about Salado as last year they were 0-5 in district, and this year in predistrict doing well. What changed?

Salado returned all their skill people from last year (Silva, Best et al) and they scored a lot of points last year. The D couldn't stop anybody. They are much improved on defense and the offense is still potent. The game with Liberty Hill should be a good one. Might give the Eagles a slight advantage due to home field.

I hear ya R4E in regards to home field stuff and being on the road. Most schools that might effect. SH never has a home crowd or any crowd and all their games are like being on the road. Just the way it is. Hurricanes use to being outnumbered.
