Burnet's defense is starting to come around and our QB #15 had a descent game against Gatesville. Looking @ Lamapasas they can move the ball but they are not that good on defense. #25 is the key for Burnet, when he gets 21+ carries the Dawgs are undefeated in the loss to Marble Falls he only had 20 and he didn't play against Giddings and I'm not saying we would have beat Giddings with him in but it would have made a big difference. This still should be a good game with Burnet pulling it out by 12.

Also if we can jump on them early much like last year we should be able to win only thing this year Lampasas looks better on offense, defense not so much.

Lampasas Freshman were down 8 - 0 end of 1st quarter , snapped the ball over the punters head , Burnet tackled him on the 3 yard line. I left after that so dont know how it ended up.

Burnet takes this one by three. Burnet has played a tough pre district schedule, and now its time to find out if those 4 Lampasas wins were all they were chalked up to be.

5-1. The team really needed this first win as losing the first district game to Burnet last year really hurt the team

Great game & congrats to Lampasas, when the score was 30-29 with under 2 minutes Burnet should have took a shot @ the 47yd FG we had the wind to our back. This one is going to sting all weekend.
