Well this should be a wild game. Rockport had a week off to prepare for this game but sometimes a week off can tend to hurt ya.Sinton had a tough game against OG but came back to win it. Gotta give Rockport the nod in this one because It's on their field. Gonna be close but Rockport 35-31 over Sinton.

I remember a couple of games back it was said they had some issue with their starting QB, but I dont know for how long he is/was out...

I remember a couple of games back it was said they had some issue with their starting QB, but I dont know for how long he is/was out...They lost one of their best scoring threat in Austin Gibson with very good speed. QB didn't miss any games afterall. He had a death in the family and wasn't sure if he would play against PLC but he did.

Sinton matches up good against Rockport Fulton strenght. Sinton has been solid against the run all year. Only team to get some yardage on them was a running qb from Hondo. Looking a the stats RF qb hasn't done much running this season and has thrown 7 interceptions. RF stats:
Rushing:
Isiah Mendiola 82 carries 522 yards 5 td
Stratton Williams 32 carries 92 yards 2 td

The week off for RF came just in time for them. They played a brutal non-district schedule. They will be more than ready for us. We have a few nagging injuries, but our guys are getting it done, albeit against weaker competition (in comparasion to RF). We need to clean up some of the penalties and give our defense more time between possessions. Still to early to predict for me.

I can't wait to watch this game, i don't think I'm gonna make the trip to watch Ingleside vs Goliad.....I think I'm gonna watch a more interesting game it was a toss up between Sinton vs Rockport or Aransas Pass vs Mathis....I think Sinton and Rockport will be representing district 30-3A in the playoffs and will be Inglesides toughest games. this should be a great game to watch.:1popcorn:

Nope I'll being driving to Goliad then down to Benavides after the game to do a little dove hunting for the weekend. However, I am touched by your concern for me.

I too think this will be a good game. Gonna predict...
Sinton by 7.

Sinton's strength of their run defense vs. Rockport's strength of their running game. Sinton should win this battle.

Hopefully Sinton run defense is as good as they've shown this season, this is one team that will try to stay with the run through out the game.

Sinton is looking better each week on offense, they just haven't put together consistant drives through out the game and looking forward to them taking control of this game.

Sinton forces some punts, might just see K. Garcia return one to the house. He return one on a kickoff return last year against Rockport Fulton.
