Starting D has scored 30 points and given up 12 points through 5 games, including 4 shut outs. Back ups have allowed a late td in each game though :ack!:

They still haven't faced a very good offense yet but I like what I've seen so far. Offensively they had their top 2 receivers out against Spring Hill & Crandall. Junior QB is getting better every game and has passed for 1,300 yards and 12 td's through 5 games. I think the Vandals have a chance to be better than our 2008 team that went 3 rounds before losing to state champ Prosper 21-7. Not much depth though so we have to stay healthy. The district game with Lindale should show if Van is for real or not. Anyways, I'm starting to get kinda excited about this season.
