I saw something that BYU makes under 3 million in TV revenue. If they come to the Big 12 it would be around 13.

I can't wait for all this crap to be over and just focus on the game. I'd rather there be a Pac 16 with OU UT TT and OSU but I guess this will have to work.

seems to me the sec will assume schools like baylor will have no grounds to sue a&m (or anybody for that matter) if their original agreement with the big 12 is still in effect after a&m leaves...i mean they could FILE a suit, but when the court asked for specific damages, what numbers could they include if their numbers from the big 12 are the same pre and post departure? once all reconfirm alliance, whether a baylor does or doesnt sign a release will be a moot point as far as real damages go....

I think with news Big 12 lives, Baylor will sign away the right..I dont really think Baylor was ever going to sue, but I think what they did saved the Big 12 it slowed everything down

Regardless of the specifics going forward from here, it's great news for the member institutions, their student populations, and fan bases that a resolution is being worked out for the Big 12. The players and their families in Texas, in particular, and the Big 12 member schools in Texas, are probably the happiest with this news. I know I personally am thrilled to know we will continue to go forward for another 6 years at least with the Big 12. I think getting to this point will be a watershed occurrence that needed to happen in order to move forward to better overall conditions for the conference as a whole. All in all, I look for a more competitive conference in the future, with some new member schools involved. What great news! Especially for Texas residents.
