First off, I have absolutely no intent of college bashing. Just a question for Baylor fans on 3adownlow. Do you guys post or read baylorfans? I wondered what all the fuss was on texags about baylorfans and some of the posters over there. So I checked it out. If those posters over there speak for all of the alumni and students over there, then there is some very deep seated hate toward A&M. And it is not just a select few, it is literally 95 percent of the population of posters on the site. Although it is not affiliated with BU so to speak, it is sad to see the level of hatred directed to another school coming from a site representing the fans and students of a Christian school. I know without a doubt that texags is no saint either, but at least having hung with those guys as long as I have, I know most of it is in jest and meant to stir the pot. I have the feeling some of those baylorfans posters over there are physically on the edge. I encountered a young guy at the Loves in Weatherford today wearing BU gear. He looked at my A&M hat and said some harsh stuff to somebody he didn't even know.

No flame toward Baylor ahead of time, so no stirring the pot please as I would like to see some good input from the Bears on the board.

They both need sites like shaggy bevo that don't take anything very seriously.

I dont ever get on that site.
But i feel like the mood on campus is one of annoyance. Most Baylor folks feel as if there really isn't a whole lot separating the two schools... yet the Ags think they're world beaters. I understand, like most other Baylor fans that our football program has been dormant for some time now.. but even then, we have still competed decently against the Aggies. And across the board looking at the whole athletic dept one could argue our dept is better than theirs. So sure there might be some hatred coming from our side, but it's the same coming from the other.

this is not necessarily my personal pov, im just stating what i can guess the masses in the green and gold are thinking/feeling

i mean to be honest i could care less. ive enjoyed my education and time here.. i graduate in december and will be going to law school somewhere else next fall... i dont get too caught up in "hating" other schools. if i hate anyone it's prolly tcu fans ;)

both schools are good school but lets be honest A&m has owned Baylor . The numbers don't lie what is it like 2 wins in 25 years. I call that owned. A lot of baylor fans all of sudden think there it cause they beat a obvious over rated tcu with a new qb and is not even close to last year form. As a aggie fan I would never hate somebody because who they root for cause thats not right & foolish. I might throw a few harmless jokes there way but some folks take the game too seriously. Its very sad! and you should never go 6th grade on anyone!

i go to baylorfans but your picking a bad time to base your opinion on (esp. if your an aggie and want to go over there to find aggie love)...ever since this conference stuff has happened it has gone nuts and not just with bears...the problem with baylorfans is there is absolutely no moderation (minus someone putting up porn or something drastic like that) so there are countless aggie trolls on that site that either a) stir the pot CONSTANTLY getting reactions or b) aggie trolls that pose as baylor fans posting outlandish stuff....that said baylorfans is NEVER a good representation of the general baylor fan base, some of those guys on there are nuts and the few with extreme views post over and over and over and over making it seem like they are the majority, heck a lot of them have multiple screen names just so they can make it seem like someone agrees with them (stupid what grown men will do)...anyway, in the end i would take what you see on there with a grain of salt the majority of baylor fans are pretty even keeled esp in football where we spent over a decade wandering in the wilderness and we are just happy to have what appears to be a sucessful football program now...

raiderpower and redraidersports are no different. You really have to sift through all the crap right now. It's almost not worth reading right now.

The "zoo" (the TexAgs free football forum) is much the same. A bunch of under-moderated school boys that serve no purpose but to stir the pot and ask for trouble. I know and work with so many Aggies that it irks me to see them giving Ags a bad name on the most visible place they can, an internet forum with 10,000 unique visitors dialed in at any one time. That is the very reason why it is so hard to even begin to moderate their behavior. If you actually subscribe and get your fix on the paid forums, it is a whole lot more laid back and realistic. Sahen is right though, now is a volatile time to go looking for love on another Big XII board if you are any Big XII school. I can't believe this conference is still alive. I don't see it lasting much longer.
