LAst night two Giants fake injuries to stop the Rams from snapping the ball...smart move or unsportsman like?

wow, those were so blatant they were funny. Lots of NCAA teams did this against Oregon last year becasue of their "nascar" offense. I think it "unsportsman" but there is no way to keep from happening. I also think it is smart.

I agree. However, I wouldnt do while just walking around. I think it would be best to do it while in a pile of bodies.

Unsportsmanlike all the way... and flagrant as well. Back to the drama classes for those two. That was obviously choreographed by the coaching staff but somebody forgot which part they played. Maybe they both wanted to be the star..

unless the 'sit out one play' when time is stopped rule is changed to sit out until the next series starts (or some other amount of time), then there is no way to curtail this...

don't think it's a good idea to leave it up to referees to decide if players are faking or not...

It is not about the times..the story I got the video from talks about how the Irish in 52 were called the fainting Irish because one player faked fainting to stop the clock so they could run one more play

Maybe if they had a rule that an injured player had to sit out for six plays or so it might stop this plus it would guarantee some more measure of safety.

As bad as the fakes were, if the Rams fell for it, they deserved whatever came of it.

I've faked an injury or two in my day....once on my honeymoon...and that's bout all the detail I'm givin' on that one......and the other when my 11-year old boy was whoopin' me in a 40-yard dash challenge...my hammy just suddenly gave!.......dammit, I had no idea he was that fast!!!......

I saw a couple of instances this past weekend where the refs blew a play dead because the defense was not set up. I find it hard to believe the refs would allow the hurry up offense to snap the ball before the defense is ready. isn't this about the same as a homeplate umpire allowing the pitcher to throw the pitch before the batter gets in the box? Just thinking out loud.....
