I was thinking about starting a thread for suggestions on a offensive player of the week nominations and a defensive POTW
nominations for region 1. What do yall think? If yall want I will start it tonight so maybe by tomorrow evening we can Post them on Reg 1 page.
Also open to any other ideas or suggestions.

Nominee: Adrian Colbert-Mineral Wells
The Class 3A 400 meter State Champ scored four touchdowns one on a punt return, one receiving and 2 rushing. Also had 5 tackles and an interception in the Rams 27-6 win over Iowa Park.

And to be a homer I will nominate my son for the defense. who had 9 tackles and 1 assist, a pass deflection and a forced fumble in his first start at cb.

I was at Big Spring vs Monahans Friday night and BS had a kid by the name of Papajohn that I swear made every tackle. I don't have any info but the kid was a player!

Keenon Ward of Snyder, 26 carries for 261 yards and scored three touchdowns, threw 41 yards for a touchdown and grabbed an interception while playing defensive back in the second half.
