This game actually appears that it will start tonight on FSN. The game was originally scheduled for 9:00 pm but there has been close to a 3 hour delay at this point and kickoff could happen around 12:30...should be a great atmosphere. Anyone know of any other late starts similar to this?

I bet some of the students got drunk before the 9pm..then passed out and now are about to start another session right before KO LOL

More rain outs in CFB than MLB it seems like this year.

This game could be an NCAA violation.. NCAA student/athletes are suppose to have athletic activity between 12 AM and 5 AM. There is an exception for games that start before midnight. But this one didn't.

The basketball around the clock stuff are considered promotional activities so the rule doesn't count for that.. Or something like that.

I think they could only start the game if there was not another lightning strike after 11:30. The last strike was recorded at 11:25 and the players came on the field around 11:55 I believe.

yep..the players coming out at 11:55 of a game that was supposed to start at 9pm made it legal for them to KO after midnight. The officials were in contact with the NCAA on how to handle this

From Tulsa's website, it looks like Alan Dock played a good game, complete with an interception
