should be a good game...liberty is looking strong this year, they may be able to beat them...

liberty has looked good against 2a schools....im sold on their qb...last year in a year when we went to state and dominated all district honors, liberty's qb was 1st team all district as a soph....problem is if you cant protect him, it doesnt matter much how good his arm is....

huffmans best defense in the past two years is their offense, its ball control, short passes that keeps the clock running, the chains moving, and the other teams offense off the field....the guy huffman has at qb this year isnt deberry, but you dont have to be in THAT offense....i just dont see liberty having the defense to stop huffman or the line to protect their qb against 3a rushers.....

if liberty wins the game i wouldn't be shocked if they end up 9-0 going up against 9-0 coldspring for the district title...that'll be a fun game

wouldnt be the first time id be wrong, and id be the first to eat my crow, but i dont see what you see, especially in their defense and o line....liberty has had a long track record of coming in with strong lines and not much skilled backfield....in 2002 they were up on us 21-12 with 2:00 left but cratered and lost 22-21....two years later they were up by 5 with :31 seconds left, got busy celebrating their win too early only to miss a tackle celebrating and our rb went for 78 yds and the winning score...

the past few years they had little on their line play OR their backfield play, then this qb shows up last year....they finally got bridge city off of their non district play so theyd quit getting beaten like a drum before district play even begins....id like to see them roll in 9-0 but i truly believe the odds are better that cleveland rolls in 5-1.....the one tape i saw of liberty they looked just awful except for qb, o line constantly chasing missed blocks and such....like i said, ill eat my crow if needed.....
