The game was called in the 3rd QT due to an injury to one of the Burkburnet players. Not sure what happened, but the players from both teams were sent to the locker room while emergency personal worked on the young man. Please pray for him and his family.

the player was nose tackle Isaiah Barnes. He never moved in 20 min. he was on the bottom of the play at the sideline. A group of tacklers descended on our tight end on a 6 yard short pass play I believe.

My wife told me he was moving around a little this morning according to our niece that lives there. Cat scans came back good on head and neck. Keep praying.

Im so glad to hear that news. That was a sick feeling sitting in the stands watching that unfold last night. I have one son playing in college today and one playing 8th grade, and as much as I love football and love watching my kids play it, it made me realize how minimal the whole game really is. I really couldn't take my eyes off of his parents, trying to imagine how they felt. Played a lot of football and watched a lot, but have never felt like I did last night. Hope like hell I never do again.
