From the sounds of it from what I read on another site Sulpher Springs didn't help themselves in this game. It also sounded like Paris scored on some fluke plays. Either way Paris won and beat a decent 4a team.

We scored one TD on a botched hold on field goal attempt, but we out played SS from the opening whistle till the end. Without a couple of very questionable calls we would have beaten them by 14 or possibly 21 points.
And as far as size, I know Celina is huge. We've been undersized against Lovejoy, Frisco, and Sulphur Springs. I seriously doubt that Celina has the speed that Sulphur Springs or us have. Should be a great game in my opinion.

I don't like going against our old nemisis over at Celina. Over the years we have developed a strange kind of friendship with them. But I have to admit, if it were Argyle against Paris right now, I would feel very uneasy. As it is, we have our hands full with Prosper this week. Two differing styles of two good football teams meeting each other. I will just watch this one with interest. Speed is and asset, but so is ball control and defense. I say it's a push.

I know Football speed and track speed are a little different. People need to quit saying Celina does not have speed like paris Last time i checked we won the regional track meet and Paris was there and we came in second at state so we have speed.....

I was just kidding about the speed. Paris doesn't really have any speed this year. It's all a myth. We had the real speed when we had coaches that had no idea what to do with it.
