One of these years ya'll are gonna shock me and fully understand the difference between whoop and whup. So here we go again:
Whoop- This is like " You need to whoop it up"! It means to yell or scream..make noise. "My team whooped your team"! Your team just outyelled the other team...WOW that's tough! LMAO!!
Whup- Southern slang for whip! This means spanks, beat, physically destroy! My team whupped your teams A$$!!! Your team physically pounded the other team into submission.
Ok, my annual rant is till next year.
