Mt. Zion is awesome. When I lived in Huntsville they were one of the few places that was making food during Rita. Bless all of the men and women at Mt. Zion.

Okay, found out the game is at 6 p.m. (according to the schedule on the Giddings website) and it is a 4 hour drive from Sinton. Red & I have decided to make the trip. :)

Woo hoo, its a party now! I think they are open till 2 or 3 PM but cant say for sure. I might stop by there on my way to Coldspring tomorrow and find out though.

if your coming from up north to coldspring, its quicker for you to exit at huntsville and take us 190 to point blank, then south on sh 156 into coldspring, than it is to go down to new waverly and go over...that way you can stop by mt zion tomorrow if need be....

I'm having major time management problems. My wife and daughter's birthdays are the 20th and 27th, and I still haven't finalized plans. They expected to do something on that Saturday. I desperately want to come watch the Buffs. What to do??? What to do???

Hey P4S, FYI, the Wimberley at Sealy game is on the 23rd. Its not but a little bit out of the way. Make for a nice weekend roadtrip.

Tempting, but I think 8-9 hours round-trip is enough for one weekend. LOL

my daughters is on the 20th also (was born 10 days after 9/11 and we were in syracuse ny stuck cause no planes were flying, ughhh)...were celebrating hers this saturday....maybe theyll let you cheat up a weekend.....
