Lake Brownwood hit it's lowest level ever on Sunday. The previous record low was back in the 70s... the lake was built in the early 30s. They say the lake still has a two year supply of water left, here's the western edge of the lake (this view is of the highway 279 bridge):

Hard to believe people are usually skiing in that area. I mowed about 5 miles of the railroad right of way today so I feel sure that will result in rain.

I was picking up old beer bottles ect. at the end of my pier and realized I was standing in what should be 15 ft. of water. We need a break in the worst way.:crying:

REally sad picture, I now have about a block walk to the lake; normally about 50 yards to dock! Dock is inundated with weeds, come on fill up lake please, the crappie fishing would be great.

That picture is almost catostrophic..........so sad. And I thought our lakes were bad.
