Our QB last friday during the 3rd quarter broke his wrist on his non throwing hand but finished the game. He found out yesterday that he will have to undergo surgery to repair it and is most likely out for the season. I feel sorry for this kid because he has broken something nearly every year. and it was usually something crazy that caused it. His sophmore year he slid feet first on the turf at mineral wells and got his ankle caught which turned it around. last year was talked from behind against west and broke the other ankle. He is a senior and is a great player, leader, and person. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
As far as the team is concerned we have a quality backup that is taller but not quite as fast. It will be interesting how fast he qrows into starting role!
