We had a tie this week; so I had to break it. Thought this might get more talk.

Ill start the discussion... Columbus is athleticly gifted this year more than last year, but there is 2 problems.... 1. there are to many hot heads on the team.. should have beat Rice bad but they got in the talking game and let their attitudes take over... 2. They play backwards... they can not throw the ball even with one of the best athletes in the STATE at WR and the small RB strugles running between the tackles... so instead of doing other things they try to throw ball and run between tackles
LET THE DISCUSSION BEGIN

Saw them plaY all 3 games this year. The cardinals should be 3 - 0 .. They are extremely talented... They are 2-3 td's better than rice and yoakum...hard to explain why they are 1-2 with the talent they have...QUOTE=the genious;1608074]Ill start the discussion... If 1 & 2 are the issues, it's a coaching matter, and they will fix it I hope. Coaching controls what happens, attitude wise, on the field. Columbus "looks" like they should be killing people with the studs they have on the field.

I do think you'll get it lined out this Friday and make someone pay.

I don't know when the Apaches whooped up on his team but he sure does have a hard time with their recent success story. It almost sounds personal....almost.:crying:

I think last year was the first time my team ever played ya'll. You didn't win either:) It's not personal at all. Your well coached and have some athletes. I just stated you have not played anyone this year. Can't be on the undefeated Apache bandwagon yet. Surely you understand why.

Actually if you are an Eagle or Hurricane supporter, you need to go back and study your history a little bit. Gonzales played Pleasanton a couple of years ago in a fantastic playoff game that Pleasanton won in overtime. Apaches have played the Eagles a number of times in the past and I think the recent playoff game was the only one the Eagles ever won. Hurricane on the other hand were in the district with Gonzales back in the middle 60's. Apaches made them pay too. Your disdain for Gonzales is getting a little old though. Whether you are an Eagle fan or a Hurricane fan, you are mostly hoping you are right and that pollsters are wrong. Maxpreps.com has the Apaches rated as the 6th best team in region 4. Wimberly, Columbia, Canyon Lake Fischer, Hondo and Lampasas are rated higher by Maxpreps. Don't see those other teams that this board has annointed as the region's best.

Give me the crow. Nice win, quality athletes and in control all night. I'll rank the Apaches in the top 10 after seeing them in person.

Thanks. I knew you'd see it our way. Thanks for coming out to watch. Columbus did have some definite speed on them. I was worried first quarter but Apaches wore them down as the game progressed.
