Gonzales won big last week and Columbus dropped a 22-14 decision to rival Rice Consolidated

Have to go with the Apaches in this one

Columbus last year would have put it on that Rice team by 20+...

That #2 they had last year was a stud.... 86 was good too

I think that the apaches will handle the cards pretty easily.

They had 2 good linemen on the strong side one of those return and the #48 linebacker is back this year and should put up BIG numbers

Lack of playing anyone catches up to Gonzales here. Columbus get's things lined out and wins at home.

Columbus 27
Gonzales 14

I do not think Columbus has played anyone either this year, I think Gonzales takes this one by 2 Td's.

Never count the big guy out, but--this week, when ya get hit, it will have more sting then when the Austin City Limits House Band hit ya last Thursday, or Looling week prior.

I don't think Columbus has played a defense that has a hit as hard as the Apaches either. Have you seen the stats on the Apache D-line or linebackers? They have great size, speed and are returning lettermen. They should be prepared for the pain the Tribe is bringing too.

I agree. Like I said, this should be a good game. Just not so good for GZ.

Another factor. Columbus not having to deal with GZ home TASO chapter, Austin. Pleasanton still steaming over that homie endzone call that cost them the game. Seen Coach Dumont this summer, and it still pisses him off.

Coach lock is still upset about the bogus holding penalty that negated a 70 yard reception the drive before the final drive... Same officiating chapter...I'll bet the pleasanton coach was OK with that call...

Yeah, he liked that one. Just the "make up call" in the EZ pissed him off I think. :)

wasn't a make up call... The ref that made that call is a cuero alumnus and dislikes Gonzo about as much as you do...
