Two big Wharton County rivals which will be playing for the 102nd time

Ricebirds are down this year, and Tigers are 1-2

Both coaches are top notch with Bob Gillis and Brad Wright
Ricebirds should win but it could be close

Who have the Ricebirds played?

As of now, I'm leaning to Wharton's side.

Definition of BUNCH
1

2
a : a number of things of the same kind <a bunch of grapes> Or---bunches of points...which I predict the 'Birds will score. A "swelling" of their side of the scoreboard.

But I hear one rumor to that affec. I can't imagine Brad staying only one year at Wharton though

Hopefully for the Wharton faithful, the administration will pony up some funds to update ALL athletic facilities. Weight room, field house, locker room, etc are all in URGENT need of fixing up.

Hasn't it been that way for years??? And didn't they just build a new tennis complex with lights???

No kidding, I heard he was up here in Cedar Park for a while and then left some years ago.

And yes Anthony Ray and Heath Sherman were the two I was referring to. Running backs like these guys dont come along very often, Tony Darthard played with me (well I was a freshman when he was a senior) at Brazosport, He was another good one.
