Curious to know what everyone thinks of Alvarado ... 3-0 and held two pretty good offenses to a total of seven points the last two weeks.

I think Alvarado is the real deal. They have to be the Region 1 favorite.

I think you're right, G2. I'll let you know for sure with an eyball report in a couple of weeks.

I know I did alot of bashing on them last year... I think that they are a good team... probably will come out of Region I but ...I actually checked out the prosper game on my way out to realtives house in Brownwood... they were ok... Bates was good... but I dont think they will win state... something just seems off on that team. Best of luck to them tho.

I'm very pleased with our team this year. I wish our bi-week wasn't so dang early though, boys need a break later in the season.

I read an article last year where their coach is quoted saying that they are trying to model their program after Abilene Wylie. They'll win state for sure
Seriously though, Alvarado was the first 3A team we have played where we were outnumbered in not only players on the sideline, but the band as well!

Oh, you mean they should be 4A also!:iagree:It's called "par-tic-i-pation"...very few Wylie kids go to class and then just go home. We're the only team in the district that is not a former 4A....and don't even have the largest enrollment either!
