7 on 7 tournament results

Hey everybody, have not been on since the end of the season. Anybody that has been to the 7 on 7 state tournament please provide info on winners and loosers, in-particular 3 A teams.

Burnet is in the winners bracket out of their pool. There's so much going on at one time that it's hard to keep up. I'll know more in the morning. I did see Forney spank Marlin. Marlin did'nt look too hot. I don't think any 3A team can hang with Burnet.

Actually I'm getting conflicting info. I could have sworn I saw Forney beat Marlin. But another post calls it Like this.

no, i called just to make sure. forney went 1-2 losing to bay city and tyler lee. we did beat marlin though.

did burnet win or lose against SLC?

Thanks espn1, on what other site did you see another post with results. Do you know who Burnet beat and who their loss was to. Dang I wish I could have been there this weekend. Oh well boys and girls Friday nights are right around the corner. By the way if Burnet fans have not been by to see Bulldawg Stadium, in addition to last years stadium expansion they have added another 600+ plus seats this summer! Seating now from endzone to endzone.

on coach frans website, he said that the championship game was gonna be on kyle field. wouldnt that be awesome to play on there?

ill have my time on the field soon. hopefully ill carry the yell leaders off the field and throw them into fish pond 7 times (tradition of the Corps fish when Aggies win) (7 is the amount of home games we have)

4 out of 8 3A teams advance to the championship round. Burnet, Celina, Brady and Merkel. Burnet and Celina were pool winners, while Merkel and Brady were runner-ups.

Rusk(1-2), Forney(1-2), Marlin(0-3) and Atlanta(0-3) were all eliminated. They will play at least one game each in the loser's bracket tomorrow.

Congratulations to all the 3A teams that qualified for the tourney, it is a big accomplishment!

Saw 3A Ballinger beat 5A Katy. Ballinger has big tall QB with a very strong arm. Alot of talent on that team. Ballinger platooned offense and defensive squads(I didn't notice anyone going both ways). Also ran a no huddle offense.

i tried to get into that one, cuz the man who talked (or helped me with my decision i should say) me into joining was in it in the mid-80's. his old lady was the mascot corporal.

im not sure if i got into E-2 though.

the only one that i know the name is tim from san antonio, and i think hes the head yell leader.
