My wife( those of you who remember she is BuffyMars on here) has been having a bunch of spine issues the last couple of years..over the past few months it has gotten worse...They think in part it is because she has a herniated disc...but they also want her to test for MS and ALS among others because some of her symptoms go past a herniated disc.

so anyway please hold a thought for her or how ever you wish someone well...Thanks

We got home a few hrs ago from my wife getting her herniated disc removed and replaced. So far things are good..

My sympathy goes out to your wife, as a back pain sufferer myself. It makes you old before your time. Get her to a good neuro surgeon and have her evaluated if you haven't. I had major reconstructive surgery 18 months ago, and now I feel 20 years younger, honestly! Be happy to recommend my surgeon if interested, he is good, just PM me!

Prayers for your wife. Spinal sugery has come a long way in the last 10 years. They now go in from the front if possible with minimally invasive techniques and long surgical tools. This keeps the back muscles and tendons intact. Much faster recovery time. I made these tools and implants at my last job.

My wife has two degenerative disk in her lower back. Not as extreme as what your wife is dealing with but a handful of days of the year she is miserable. It looks like it would be tough to deal with. Good Luck

I had several bad disc which made my life miserable as well. Had surgery in 1999 and have felt great since. Im sure the technology is even better now. Good luck to your wife.
