This is the 2nd straight game that I went to that had an ejection (X 2 last night). I got into a discussion with a fella fan about this. What's the UIL rule on the player that gets ejected? He was saying that they had to sit out 1 or 2 qtrs. of their next game. I was thinking it was the ENTIRE next game. Any rules experts? Thanks in advance. Just curious?

The UIL has no statewide rule on followup punishments for an ejection. I am told some districts may but I have never had a coach tell me his district does this. The UIL issued an exception so the NCAA rule which does require some followup puinishment does not apply

Our district had a rule if you get ejected you sit out a game not sure if it still applies.
