Carthage might just lose its first game at Bulldog Stadium on Friday. CH is rolling and Carthage is reeling. If Carthage has a chance to win:

1. QB will have to be more consistent.
2. Carthage will have to run the ball more.
3. Carthage must win TO battle.

Did You Know? Carthage had a big contributor move to CH in the off-season.

I see a lot of points in this one. Chapel Hill wins.

I wouldn't be surprised either way in this one. I think this one will be a shootout, with Chapel Hill ending the Carthage home win streak. Like I say, though, I wouldn't be surprised to see Carthage win, either, but if I had to pick...........it oughta be a good 'un.

This will be one of the best games in the state tonight. Chapel Hill is rolling and Carthage is still meshing new parts. Carthage has never lost at this stadium and they will not want to lose this one either. I suspect that they will be charged up and ready. The winner will have to play a no turnover game and win the kicking game. I'm gonna go on a limb and pick Carthage. I believe they will bounce back this week and show the entire state that they are a force this year too.

Carthage 42
Chapel Hill 35

first and foremost, many congrats to the hill and way to fight carthage.....

ok, to those who saw, which was better, ch's defense or carthages offense? isnt this the point output for carthage per game this year?

i was not at the game so I can only go off what was told to me..CH was having their way until Sanez got hurt..it was 21-7 at half..in 2nd half carthage gained control and ran out of time..sounds like the carthage soph QB kind of gew up in 2nd half.

Tucker went out 1st possession and Saenz went out at the end of the 1st. The 2nd string QB and 3rd string) did great. The injuries are piling up. QB, 2 RBs, NT, Receiver, LB, all of which start. Carthage looked good. My guess is they will get better by the week and be a force to be reckon with again. They are young but fight hard.

that was my thought, that even a loss would sharpen carthage up good......

Nope 14-7 at the half. Carthage gave CH two short fields for two of their scores.
