People always say turf pays for itself in the long run due to so much less maintenance, but I'm guessing since Llano uses well water that's basically free they don't factor that in to the cost of the upkeep. Nevertheless, with water shortages I wonder if more places will be finding the money for turf.

I went to several Ranger games this summer, I wonder how much water they have to use to keep their grass so green all season long (plus fertilizers). I wonder why they haven't gone to turf.
