Van 51 Brownsboro 18 at the half. Van scored 36 points in the 2nd Quarter. Van's Colby Rucker had 5 catches for 203 yards and 4 td's. QB Smallwood passed for close to 400 yards. Santos carried the ball 3 times scoring twice.


Neither team scored in the second half.

Gilmer beat that "doesn't count" team 36-35 last year :-) I know I know that was last year. Just messin with ya.

So far Gilmer sounds much much improved this year.

And that win wasn't bragged about at all. It was about a shameful a win as you can have.

But, it's a little different for us since we are in the same district together. But to brag about beating a team from the "District of Doom", and that team being Gladewater doesn't really count as a "quality" win. And I know that Wills Point isn't "your" team, but they represent your district.

It would be like throwing North Texas in the SEC, and then SFA beating North Texas and bragging about beating an SEC team.
