The Sealy Tigers 2-0 had all they could handle last night as the faced a St. Pius Panther team lead by Texas A&M commit Kohl Stewart. Stewart is a solid QB who is a game changer with pin-point accuracy and smart running. Look for this guy on Saturday afternoons. This years version of the Tigers are not as big as teams of the past, but they have shown that size and speed come in many different packages. Outstanding game by Jr. RB Jowan Davis 219 yds 3 TD and Jr. QB Ricky Seals-Jones who had 124 rushing yards and the game ending interception. RJ Cardell was a force on both sides of the ball and proved to be elusive when running the ball. Good job by Klepser at QB. His confidence is evident by offensive production when he is in the game.

Overall the Tigers seemed to have some trouble getting the plays into the game from the sidelines. That has to,and will be corrected. The freshman kicker remains perfect on the season. Big hits by both teams. Plenty of penalties were called, even more not called, including a tackle on a fair catch and a gang tackle clearly out of bounds resulting in an injury. The Tigers are still making mental errors and questionable decisions, but are making up for it with one big play after another. On to Fischer-Canyon Lake on the road this Friday.
