in numbers they did, dont know about special players lost....we won 26-0 last yr, barbay was shuttling a lot with sherman out but 26-0 turned out to be a better result than some had after, so them making the playoffs shouldnt have been such a surprise to me....

oh yea, in the early 2000's, the mustangs had byrd at qb and jabor manning at rb.....centerville was #2 in the state yet just had the bad luck of being next door to #1 corrigan camden...my nephew played for one of those centerville teams...they were wars....

you know me, i dont like to body slam....years ago a group of guys begged my oldest and i to change residence to a rent house we had in the madisonville district after he had an 18 tackle, 3 sack night against them....while there was no way we were gonna give up a house on lake livingston (or his jet ski from his perspective) for that, it was a nce compliment to him....

but your right, barbays highest priority will be keeping gilbert to 10-13 carries so as to get his 100 yds, keep him safe from injury in case he needs him the entire game against crockett, and let that run hungry offense run the clock out....

im thinkin we might have found the #2 back....while gilbert had 17 carries for 133 yds, colton monroe had 10 carries for 209, an average of almost 21 yds per carry.....hes looked the best by far of the other backs.....
