Whitesboro to 2a????

Heard a rumor today that Whitesboro is going 2a next alignment. Anyone else hear this? I know its early to be talking about realignment but this would help them out tremendously if that happens.

I saw a tweet from Bill Spinks of the Sherman Herald Democrat that Whitesboro has 397 in high school and will definitely drop to 2A.

I don't know if that'll help them that much because Van Alstyne and Pilot Point are pretty close to dropping too and Gunter might bounce up to Division I, and all of them will have to get through Pottsboro. But it sure beats getting pounded by Argyle and Sanger and Gainesville.
