Are you referring to the kids who were varsity back ups last year that are now starters? If so it would have been really tough to watch them on the sub varsity level.

My class won 1 game as freshman and went 10-0 my senior year. It's not always a true indicator of talent. Just sayin

I'm talking about seeing and playing against yall for the past four years including your varsity backups, and the games aren't decided by the predictions either they are decided on the field at game time on game night......anyway should be a good game at Newton Field Friday night 7:30 p.m. between two great programs.:)

Even though I do see BW winning Friday, I actually don't see the Lions putting up big points. Still a lot of work to do. I think Shipley will work on what needs improvement to get the team in shape for District. But, I do think they will jump ahead quickly and make Graham chase all night.

If we play Gatesville 10 more times I understand...but Graham should be considerably stronger, at least I think. I'll agree we could have easily easily hung 50+ on Gatesville. We have some work to do but I'm confident we will get there this year.

I'll chime in. Grahams defense looked good, although they gave up over 400 yards to the Rams. Mineral Wells had several penalties that killed drives and the fumbles proved costly. I believe Graham may have some problems on offense against BW.

Both teams are horrible and expect both to get donkey punched this week. That was literally the worst game I have ever witnessed. Mineral Wells needs to learn how to use its athletes, and Graham does nothing but arm tackle. I will say the QB Graham came out with in the 2nd half does have potential however.
