Ingleside -vs- Tuloso Midway

From what I have heard, Ingleside has the speed to go around. I think TM is going to have their hands full.

I was at the TM and Mathis game, both teams played really sloppy but that could be due to it being the first game of the year TM lost one of their big time weapons early in the game on a tackle and was out the rest of the game....But Mathis was clearly the better team, TM had a lot of open receivers but no one on that team could catch if their life depended on it.....on paper Ingleside should run away with this game, again this is Ingleside first game so it could be closer than some might think.

yeah I think this year will be a very fun year, one definitely for the highlight reel....i believe this year will be full of big plays through the air and on the ground.....I expect junior RB Marquis Barrolle to have a breakout year."get your popcorn ready":1popcorn:

All the talent is back from last year in the backfield and the receiver corp. If the OL is good then the potentail is there for Ingleside to be a very high scoring team. I did not go to the scrimmages but a friend of mine said the Mustangs were much improved on defense. There was a lot of gang tackling and not so much of trying to strip the ball loose. We'll see this Friday.

I was at both scrimmages and Ingleside look very good on both sides of the ball....the offensive line is pretty much in tacked from last year and all the skilled positions are back, Ingleside is in a good position to make a deep run .

Warrior's coach Sendejar is a good coach, but I give the Mustangs a big edge.

No, not here at Wimberley. But he has a history of turning losing doormat teams into competitors. Two of which are Laredo United (a powerhouse in that district, he was district coach of the year) and then Tuloso Midway , first playoff appearance in 35 years couple of years ago.

At the end of the first qtr Ingleside was up 37-0 and by the end of the first half it was Ingleside 37 TM 7. I think the Coach called the dogs off so to speak. It looks like the Mustangs are running on all cylinders.

I read the caller article and watched the online sports vids and that is what I ended up seeing as well. Good stuff. The Mustangs looked primed and ready to go for the season.

yeah Phil i agree, but I've been telling people they need to be worried about Rockport Fulton this year as well and now they have 2 pretty impressive wins.....once again its gonna be another tough race to the district title in district 30-3A.

I agree Rockport appears to be playing very well at this time for having a new system and coach. I think Inglesides returning experience and depth is going to help tremendously this year.
