Carthage starts out right where they left off with a strong win over a good 4A Jacksonville team. The Carthage D look very good tonight with several sacks and tackels for loss. The biggest surprise was the Soph QB for the Dawgs, he threw the ball well and ran the O like a vet. The O line played well and pass protected and opened big holes to run through. The Dawgs will be tested again next week against Lindell. If they can keep improving each week, they will be in the hunt again. The district of doom had a good showing this weekend. Carhtage, Gilmer, and Henderson all win the first one. Gilmer has a very big test next week against my Tatum Eagles. It should give a good bench mark as how good or bad we really are.
