Officially signed for financial aid and will soon enroll at Baylor per David Smoak on twitter. Hopefully he can get a hardship and be on the field this season.

If you don't know who he is http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Lache-Seastrunk-75256

Meant NCAA, he needs his 1 year sit-out waived I believe.

He has to sit a year because he went to another BCS school... Transfered because they put two true freshmen ahead of him.

he is applying for a waiver since his grandparents (who were his guardians) are pretty sick...if the NCAA grants it then he can play immediately (not unheard of)...but if they dont then he will have 3 years at Baylor...either way glad to have him

He won't have to sit out year. I'd be surprised if he does..

In a similar situation Elliott Williams transferred from Duke to Memphis without having to sit out a year so it can happen.

Mmmm he can apply for a hardship since his grandparents who raised him are in bad health.

Is Baylor freakishly lucky on this one or what. Don't think they even had to work at it. Watched youtube of his sophomore year. Unbelievable cuts, slides, and moves with break away speed.

Kid from OU transfered to UNT for the same reason. NCAA said "Sorry!".

TTU is trying to get Delvon Simmons pushed through and having troubles also. It's not as easy as it sounds.

Seen on ESPN that Seastrunk is a player the NCAA is/and will be talking to in their investigation of Oregon and Lyles.
