B'port - Columbia Week 0

Exporters won last year 26-14 and then the Necks went on to win 12 in a row before losing 41-14 to Chapel Hill in the Semi's. Columbia returns 5/8 from that team. Replacing their all everything QB and all 5 linemen on offense. Necks return 4 RB's who account for around 3000 yards and 36 TD's combined and a defense that should carry them.

Knowing nothing about what B'port returns, I'll take WC 21-10.

I also know nothing about Brazosport but those Roughnecks can really get after you. With so much talent in the backfield I expect a high scoring game and will go with Columbia by a couple of tds.

Brazosport returns 3 on offense, 2 on defense. They are having to replace both Dexter Brown and Thaddeus Backman in the backfield. They will be young and inexperienced at the varsity level. I saw their team photo the other day and was surprised at the small numbers they have. I counted 29 on varsity for a 4A school. I'm going with a final score of 28-10 Columbia.

i'll just simply type that really enjoy seeing the old rivalries stay intact.

Thats an old 4A rivalry, Played on the Exporters in the late 80s. Wayne Williams and crew gave us hell back in the day. Glad to see its still going, Brazosport has always had talent, we were never able to build good teams though.

I watched that game in the Dome, along with Stratford/Willowridge game I believe... It was long ago, Our season was over when the play offs hit so I figured if I cant play I will watch. I was rootin for WC but WOS was to much for anyone that year.
